Hillsong is a mega church in Sydney. When we use the word mega, we are talking big. So the church is bigger than your typical catholic church gathering on a Sunday morning. Hillsong gather about 20,000 people over the weekends, isn’t that nice. 20,000 people with nothing better to do with their time.
Anyway, they bought a property in Sydney for $28 millions dollars and are now giving it up, trying to sell it, because the locals didn’t really want a mega church in the area. They were going to build a church that would seat 2,700 people.
What a waste of money that would be. So you can either gather vasts sums of money from the faithful and use that to actually help those in need, or you can use it to buy useless property and propose useless buildings where useless people gather to praise a useless god.
Utterly useless.
