Gay Bans

[SOURCE]

Gay couple go to a church based foster care agency to help out and foster a child and are refused because they’re gay.  So they sue on account of them being discriminated against and all, and they win.  However, the agency appeals and it gets overturned.  It’s a recurring story.  As we well know, churches can discriminate, if they want, based on silly rules that nobody outside their organisational hierarchy takes seriously.

Cardinal George Hell weighs in on the subject and makes these statements:

It is important to protect people from unjust discrimination but it is ridiculous to claim discrimination every time we show a preference for some people over others.

In other words, he thinks that discrimination is unjust and we must protect people from it, unless the discrimination is for citizens who happen to be gay, then they’re just ridiculous.  I don’t get how he thinks its ridiculous to claim discrimination just because they discriminate against homosexuals.  Which part of his brain doesn’t get that discrimination based on someone’s sexuality is wrong and needs to be stamped out.

Again, why aren’t the leaders of our country standing up against this ingrained homophobia and screaming that he’s wrong.  Why aren’t the progressive catholics saying his wrong and taking him to task over his disgusting language?  He just keeps on getting away with it.  Silly hat wearing git.  His miter is too tight.
