Gay marriage in India

[SOURCE]

It was a simple poll – Do you think that gay marriage should be legalised in India?

As at the time of blogging;

  • No (49.0%, 7,797 Votes)
  • Yes (31.0%, 5,023 Votes)
  • I don’t care (20.0%, 3,172 Votes)
    Total Voters: 15,992

Its the comments I love. The first one is probably the pick of the bunch:

Silly question really.Who gives a shit

and then it sort of descends into the fairly predictable rubbish we see so much about the traps:

Gay marriage is not acceptable in our indian society, because It is unnatural act.The gay persons are sick and need treatment instead of sympathy or favour. Moreover,in the long run it will have bad effect on the society as a whole.

umm… who decides what is natural?

Every thing GOD made man forgot and now they are on their own.The earth is taken over by the Evil Spirit and evil mind and now we will find all these types of things happening and these are the symptoms of the end to the worldly life that has to be fulfilled and accordingly GOD will punish all these human creatures.

You don’t get out much do you?

I dont oppose gay basic rights, in the sense that I feel gays should not be prosecuted. At the same time I think that gay marriage should not be legalised due to the simple reason that it is not scientific.

I don’t get that – how is marriage scientific anyway?  I mean really….

Gay’s are mentally distrubted people.Gays turn into Phycopaths after years of Realtionship. This has been medically proved in UK and other countries. Gay relationship is against nature.

Watch out Love Llama, you’ll turn into a ‘phycopath’ after years of being with me.

Laugh, I haven’t laughed so much since Adam and Steve sucked dick.
