Have you heard all the excitement? There’s a new christian church in Qatar, a mostly islamic country.Â
The authorities were so concerned about security that the police had to block the place off while 15,000, that’s fifteen thousand, people rolled in to hear the mass being said. There were threats too, on the internet, coz some of the muslims don’t like the idea of a church in their state.
I don’t know why you’d bother sticking a church in the middle of an islamic state, I mean really – what’s that about. Its like a red flag to a bull. Oh I hear them cry, people should be allowed to worship whatever they like.
 Bullwhack I say to that. People don’t need to worship anything. Its time for us to grow up and shed this ancient notion of a god there that needs to be worshipped. You know its just plain silly, deep in your heart, you know there is no god.
On the other hand, I greet with suspicion this story that seems to indicate that the biggest islamic conference in the world has condemned violence and terrorism, but then falls into sharp rebuke about Israel and the middle east, the article seem so hopeful up until that point. You know, you guys, just get over it, get your lot to stop lobbing rockets over the border, Israel can stop responding and most of all stop the bloody finger pointing.
The whole lot of us would be better off without your stupid religions. It’s time to let it go and work on just getting along together.
