Another important truth that is brought out here is that the proper care of our bodies is important. God, our Creator, asks us to respect his creation by taking the best possible care of the body which he has given us.
Right, he gave us our bodies, a flawed body too.  I mean who would design a body where the woman has to shove the head of a baby out a small gap?  Who designs teeth that rot and cause pain?  Who designs toenails that can grow in?  Who gives men nipples?  Why did god create bodies with skin conditions in the first place.  If he wants us to take good care of them, he should have put a bit more time into creating us.  Perhaps he should have allowed an 8 day week, and spent the extra time making sure our bones couldn’t be easily broken, that men couldn’t get big guts and put pressure on their backs, that our eyes would always  have perfect vision…
