The Philippines have been knocked about quite savagely recently. They’re bracing themselves for a third typhoon. The previous two have caused great devastation, millions of people are still living in flooded areas and disease is beginning to take its toll.
International aid agencies have hit the area and helping out as much as possible. Including the crowd from AMG International. They report:
our teams went in, gave food packages to 400 families, and coordinated that with the local church.
I would think this is just what’s needed, but then later on in the article was this bit:
Thomas adds that while it’s a crisis, this has also opened new doors for the hope of Christ. “Now we’re going back to check and say, ‘Hey, how are you doing?’ And they’ll ask, ‘Why are you doing this for me? Why are you here?’ And then we’re able to tell them.”
They’re doing it for jesus. These arseholes are going in to help some really vulnerable people who are probably having the worst time of their lives, and all the christians want to do is tell them about their stupid god.
My first question would be why their god was dumb enough to send three typhoons in the first place, followed by why he then allows the water to be polluted and carry disease. What sort of god is this?
So, it would seem the only reason they are really helping is to bring god to them. What a bunch of creepy batshit headed arseholes.
