There are moves afoot over at Homosecular Gaytheist blog to create a calendar of naked atheists for 2010. Luckily for me nobody wants to see a naked llama, not even a randy alpaca.
Profits for the sale of said calendar will go to The Trevor Project. A wonderful concept. When about to air a film in 1998, the producers of the film (which was about a 13 year old who attempted suicide) discovered that there was no organisation out there to help teens who might be having trouble with their sexuality. So they created one. Good on them.
A much better effort than our very own Beyond Blue, ‘the national depression initiative’ who seemed to have a lot of trouble doing any research or funding programs for gay people. [SOURCE].
It doesn’t take much to think about and help people. If you’re in a position to do just that, why wouldn’t you?
