Sometimes there’s a little ripper of an article in the paper that just makes me go “what?”
So, the future king, who’s in the navy, or the airforce, I don’t care which, managed to fly a helicopter to a couple of personal events. Landed in a field to see his girlfriend and on another occassion dropped by to pick his brother up and went to a party.
Lovely. He’s clearly got no problem about using his position to get what he wants, at the tax payers expense. Imagine if that was a ‘non-royal’ officer – what would happen then? He should be drummed out of the services and made to pay, although I’m not sure how you make him pay – unless he has a private source of income.
I wonder if revolution is out of the question these days.
