Thank Jesus

I found this on twitter.com:

today’s my youngest son 8th b’day. That’s 8 blessed years from God. And his autism IS part of that blessing. Thank you Jesus!

Now TukangRoti is thanking Jesus for the blessing of his son having autism.  What a cruel and heartless bastard your god is, if he truly loved you he would have no need of a reason to test your faith, and how did you work out that your son’s disability was a blessing?  How does that work?

How very bizarre.

  1. It’s not uncommon for hearing impaired parents to desire having deaf children, and refusing permission for their children to have surgery that will enable them to hear.

They don’t see it as a disability, but something that makes them special, and members of a unique sub-culture.

Having said that, I think that this is wrong, and your little find even more wrong. I know, I’ve taught children with autism. It’s hard work.

Thanks for the comment. I guess people like a positive spin on things – but why would you choose not to have something fix for the sake of the child’s well being.
