Mothers Day, along with its partner Fathers Day, are probably two of the worse days of the year. There is no reason for them other than some marketing ploy. Its not like Christmas or Easter that have been hijacked by commercial interest. These two days just for you folks have been artificially imposed upon us the poor consumers. The media is mad with it, every night for the last month, some snotty nose kid has been trying to convince me to buy the mother of my choosing some diamonds. As if.
I’ve instructed the seed of my loins to avoid it and not participate in this crappy day. They can give thanks and worship any old time, with birthdays, Christmas and plenty of other occassions, Mothers Day is a waste of time and money and should be aborted.
